To Champion our Authors

In a world filled with millions of books, it is more important than ever for an Author to stand out from a crowd. Yet, more than ever before, getting your books noticed is not an easy task. Where do you even start? How on Earth do you get your work in front of an audience? Well, that is where RAM PA Group comes in!

Social media is the second most important tool available to authors, the first being their word processor! The importance of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like cannot be overstated. There is a potential audience of millions on these sites alone. So RAM took the lead by joining hundreds of book groups, hundreds of them, and it is on these groups that we promote our authors. However, that is only the first stage of our multifaceted strategy. What about Author Takeover events? These are special events that we organise and host in Facebook, giving the author the opportunity to invite hundreds of friends/readers from their lists to attend. These friends may in turn, invite their friends, so the audience for such events can grow quickly.

The events consist of question and answer sessions and is a superb way of engaging with a huge audience by making yourself accessible to your core audience. It is also the very best way to gain new readers. These events can also be used for book release parties, cover reveals, and what about going live? RAM is proud to have hosted one of the very first live events, and it was a huge success for the author involved.

So who are we? And what qualifies us to promote authors?

Maggie Lane

Has worked in administration and management for over 20 years. Knows every aspect of running a smooth well oiled business. Has developed a keen sense of what works best for a client without taking away the clients ability to make decisions.

Ronnie Bee

After teaching pre school children for a number of years she married and became a military wife staying at home and being care giver to two beautiful children. Ronnie has a very artistic flair and creates beautiful work. Her attention to detail is outstanding.

We are passionate about books. We live, eat, sleep books! We are avid readers of all genre’s, but if we had to chose one genre to be stranded on an island with, it would have to be M/M. We came together to start RAM because we really wanted to help some of our favourite authors, we felt they deserved to be read, not only by their own fan-base, but by a much wider audience. We believe in our authors, with all our heart. The passion they put onto the page, the hard work and love they pour into every word, it is a thing of joy, and we simply had to spread the word.

RAM PA Group is growing and have gone on to be a part of the Divine Magazine team by playing a PA role to the CEO, as well as Social Media Managers. Recently, we have branched out into the photographic world and taken on our first client. This is an exciting time for us, and for our Authors, and it is an honour and a privilege to be a part of this amazing journey with them.

Below is some of the artwork we have produced for our authors in the promoting process. We also make video book trailers, a very striking way to get your work noticed.

A note from Sean Kerr, Author of The Dead Camp series of books.

''I first met Maggie and Ronni when I released Dead Camp 1. The relationship that developed between us is very special, and the girls became my PA. I cannot begin to say what a difference they have made to me, and to my books. I immediately saw an increase in sales, and as the team has developed and expanded, they have found new and exciting ways to promote me to stunning effect. I could not do what I do without them, and my books would still be unknown if it wasn’t for their incredible gifts and dedication. I owe Maggi and Ronni everything, and if you are an author, you need RAM PA Group in your life.''
